The month of camps

`A new beginning`

It's July folks!

For JC students, it's the dreaded month of Common Tests/Mid Years etc and for secondary school students and below.. To be honest I can't remember what we did in the month of July. It is officially the start of the next half of year 2013 and soon enough, it would be National Day and Teachers' Day, Children's Day,..Christmas etc.

For uni students, July would be the month of Orientation Camps. The camps which will mark the start of your university lives and get you to meet people from all walks of life. I'm not saying you should join as many camps as possible (though it would possibly do you a reasonable amount of benefits), but there is always no harm joining at least one, especially the faculty camp. Get to know seniors, fun people, people whom you will hang out with the rest of your uni lives and maybe your soul mate? ;)

Orientation camps would be the only chance for you to have proper fun. I assure you once the school term starts, you will miss the fun you've had spent during the various camps you'd joined. No doubt as seniors you can always join in the fun for the following year's camp and get the sense of accomplishment when you make the freshmen feel as welcomed as you did the previous year.
