You light up my life.

First lesson of Mr Ong's class after the long break since the last tuition class I had. As usual, there were loads of laughter.
After that met Ginny at Jp int to _______. Sorry, can't spill, in case this lovely, lovable lady visits this blog by chance (impossible lol). I can't take any chances. -D

Went into two gift shops and made our choices in each of the shops. After that to KFC for lunch and, somehow we decided to travel to Science Centre's Curiosity shop. lol, come to think of it xD it was silly BUT worth it. Somehow again, we walked to IMM. Nothing there and went back to Jp again -.- and bought one of the choices.

Yeah that's it. Great exercise. Sounds delirious for a day, but at least we didn't come back empty-handed.

Went to school for project discussion. Modulo drill. Quite fun. lol
Then after that went to NDC for dental appointment.
So, I'm fully braced now.
Actually I only had my upper jaw's teeth braced, but now, I had my lower one braced as well. Metallic teeth.

Yesterday

Went to bowling with Ginny, Jiaying, Cyrus, Najmah came after that and together with Shugee, Huishi, Meixuan, Tzeying and Eeping. Played 3 rounds in total. Najmah went home after our bowling.

After that we went to Bukit Batok CC in search for courts for badminton. lol. No luck. No slots for us. Asked for Frontier's number and Shugee called to reserve a court. We rushed there as fast as we could coz the slots were from 4-5pm and 4-6 pm. While we were at Bukit Batok at the time of 3.45pm. Crazy walking speed they have.

Yeah by the time we reached Frontier, there was only one court left for us. lol. So the 10 of us must squeeze within a court. Was all right coz Ginny, Jiaying, Eeping and I went up to the stage and had our badminton.

Reached school at about 7.45am. Went straight to the Chem lab with Yingwei. lol.

Saw our model that we have spent time on during the first half of July for the green building competition. Although it was tough but I kinda missed it. Saw Sec2's Desktop Garden which won the First Prize. Yes, we were supposed to present the visitors all these.

Loitered around the area and went to the canteen to see if Ginny was there already. Sorry Ginny lol, didn't know that u spammed me with sms-es.

After that Huangyu came and she went over to the Chem Lab next door to help out with the polymerisation group. Eeping came followed by Ginny.
It was still early so we walked around the area again..

Yeah between this period of time from 9-10 plus people came in bt there weren't alot and it was always Huangyu doing all the talking.
Yeah and suddenly teachers eg Mrs Chong and Mr Shiv told us to take our seats. We started on lessons about Indicators. We went through the theory with Mrs Chong and there was this weird Acids and Alkali song. After that we went over to another bench and each had a blank paper. Instructions were to outline a sun and a flower. Coloured them with various indicators respectively such as phenolphthalein, tumeric solution, iodine solution, red cabbage solution etc. Then there was this worksheet for us to write down our predictions of the colour changes which will happen when we wipe the whole paper using a tissue paper dipped in Ammonia solution. lol. Yeah the people/person with the correct/closest answer will get a prize -.- lolll in the end Eeping and I were thinking it will definitely NOT be us but it turned out to be otherwise. We got the closest answers -.- How surprising.

10.15am. Most of the 3e3 Bio students came. Huangyu presented Mrs Wee with the card that Rachel made and with all our messages to her. There were presents too, from Huiming and Parveen. It was a real touching moment. Took photos and chatted with Mrs Wee for a while.

10.30am. Rushed to 2e2 and met up with Mdm Adlin to help her for the demo. Went through Terrorism. Until 12 noon and some of us went to collect our lunch. Hmm, weird lunch though.

Went down to the canteen to have our lunch. Didn't finish it and we threw them away lol to rush up to the hall for the concert. Poetry slam, hyss cheerleaders, hip hop, dance and the last performance by the choir.

Concert ended at 1 and we went back to Chem lab to help out again. There were only a few visitors and this time we really tried to do the talking. Fun lol. To be chatting with parents and looking at them nod.

Went to the lab next door and had lessons on how to make a paperweight. I made mine as something green... I have no idea why. lol must thank Cyrus for doing SOME work for us.

After that Parveen and I went to the Com Lab and collect her Chem 5yrs series lol. I think it had been there for more than 2 weeks. Yeah and then we went tgt with Changlin and Najmah to IT Resource room to watch ELDDS carry out their lessons to the visitors.

Rushed back to 2e2 again to meet Mdm Adlin to continue with the demo again. Hmm I think half the time in open house we were rushing here and there. Dashed to Chem Lab for my paperweight and when we were about to rush back to 2e2, Mrs Wee called me to present our stuff to a family.
Yeah by the time we reached Mdm Adlin, she told us that we were not needed anymore lol. So Ginny, Eeping and I went back to the chem lab and help out with the presenting of stuff again. Again, I don't know why we ended up trimming plants in the garden until 4 plus.

Conclusion:
1)Open House this year was definitely different coz we were supposed to be doing demo on how we carry out lessons to the visitors..
2) Thanks for those who called out to me and said my hair was very messy. I appreciated it. By the time Tzeying told me, I was already taking that as a compliment.

GARDENING today. My favourite.

Mrs Wee brought some of her plants from home e.g Periwinkle, Yam, Orchid etc.

As usual I took my SPADE. My beloved tool for gardening/farming. How could I ever live without it. -.- I'm getting weird. Went off with my the spade to plant the YAM. It wasn't me who did the planting though. lol

Then Mrs Wee asked me to go off and help the others plant Periwinkles.

Fun.

Stuff we bought.

Met up at Jp Interchange today with Ginny, Jiaying, Huishi and Shugee.
Went in, and browsed through CDs and went down to Fairprice after that. Bought the ingredients that were needed for cold noodles(according to Mrs Wee).

Oh, and about that, it wasnt that surprising at all if our noodles turned out bad, coz Mrs Wee didnt tell us in detail how to cook it.

Yeah then after that went to Popular for Jiaying's Pure Geog textbook.

Walked to Shugee's hse and settled down.

Prepared and started cooking/boiling/peeling/slicing etc.

Turned out to be a disaster. After that we had some Soy sauce/ sesame oil into the noodle.
MUCH BETTER. Almost similar to the taste Mrs Wee cooked for us as well.

Life Science and Entrepreneur Camp.

Had games as an introduction in the morning.
First game, the name game. I'm really touched that the sec1s this year could actually remember my name. lol
Usually people would be pointing their fingers at me, squinting their eyes or rubbing their foreheads trying the hell out to remember what's my name.

Second game, Wacko. The classic sabotage game.

Third game, I Have Never. The person in the middle will be saying a thing that he/she had never did before. E.g I have never wore earrings before. Those who wear earrings before will have to stand and change their seats -.-

Fourth game, similar to I Have Never but it's Blow Wind Blow. lol shan't explain. Another classic.

Fifth game, combined with another circle and played Sit And Run. Rather fun running around.

Last game, Continue The Story. Funny. Nonsensical story lines twisted and turned. All the characters made up died eventually. Died. Dead. Kinda lame.

Went for a drink and then all of us went up to the library for Movie screening. Actually played Step Up 2 then changed to L Changed The World lol. Watched about 1/2 of it and went down for lunch. Nice lunch.

After lunch went up again and continued with the movie. Climax when the movie will also be ending soon, Huangyu paused and we must go down to the AVA room for Entrepreneur's er, project discussion.

The instructor is damn funny. He's really a professional salesman. I can't stop laughing. Loads of creative ideas came out from him wow he's a real pro.

After that we went down to prepare for BBQ. lol All I can say is..I love bbq-ing OTAHs.

Actually not really in the mood to even blog. Tired-.-

Went with Red Cross and Girl Guides with only 4 Life Science members to Singapore Visual Farm.

Went into a room and had our theory lesson about how to farm.

Trainers were Joyce and Geoffrey.

Had our practical later.

Learn to appreciate all food okay.

Farming is fun; not a dirty job. However, imagine if you have to do it almost everyday under the hot sun. Pure torture.

Okay back.. I was so despo for the Shovel that I was looking out for it every minute if the trainers had took them out. Yeah in the end after the measurements of the plot of land (15x3) I took the Shovel from Huangyu who knows I'm going crazy over it.

Dug hell lots of stones out from the land. Fun I tell you. Saw alot of worms too. Earthworm, millipedes and a white juicy one (woodgrub). The hardest part for me would be when we were carrying down the compost IN A WHEELBARROW down the staircase to our land. lol especially on the uneven land the wheelbarrow would tilt and lose its balance.

Don't mess with the wheelbarrow. I've got a red bruise at my thigh right now. Internal injury. lol

After that er... okay I shall skip.

I may consider putting farming as my career choice lol. Breeder? Will have to study agriculture in the future. haha.

Came up and ate buns and drank packet drinks. Then Joyce took some Neem leaves here. It's a miracle plant I tell you. The sap can..er.. lol clear and kill bacteria in your body, act as a natural pesticide for crops (it's so true) and treat skin allergies..Go google it if u wanna know more.

God, I took one of the Neem leaves and ate it. Freaking BITTER. BITTER BITTER. Ginny, Eeping, Parveen and I swallowed it. Wow at that point I almost vomitted. Ginny, Eeping and I dashed to the water cooler.

Oh yeah, if you consume Neem leaves for a period of time, GIRLS, YOU WILL BE STERILE for the period of time also.

After the break, learnt how to harvest both leafy vegetables and non-leafy vegetables and also how to make natural fertiliser.

lol I can't go on any further..

Had two SPAs today.

First one Chem. Titration. I guess this will be the only SPA practice I enjoy the most.

After that had Bio SPA.

Plotted points on the graph was damn hilarious I tell you.

After that packed my bag and was ready to go. Saw something white in there. Took out and realised it's a white bear.

So it was Parveen. lol thanks parv, nice way of sneaking stuff into Naj's, Eeping's and my bag by modelling your way through.

Received TEN sets of maths worksheet for holiday homework. Different school papers.

It is a one hour kind of thing

lol. Quite a fun day today.

Had math lesson for two hours before break in the com lab for circle properties.

After break went to Physics Lab and we were introduced to the UMPC.

Ultra Mobile Personal Computer. It's real small. According to our teacher, we can carry it around like a purse. How convenient.

Yeah after school went back to the class and then decided to go to the library. Closed. lol So went down to the canteen and saw 3e2 treated with Pizza, KFC and stuff by Mrs Chia.

I felt a little extra so Eeping and I sat further away lol. Then after Parveen chatted with Mrs Chia, we were involved in finishing up the food xD

Ate a slice of Pizza and the wheat potato and the cold vege/salad..thing shared with Eeping. lol Thanks Mrs Chia. (:

After that Parveen called or rather Eeping and I volunteered *lol* ourselves to help her in carrying the firewoods? lol. Yeah and blah.. Lazy to type further.

Last lesson of swimming today. No comments.

Hmm lessons today were normal. lol Nothing much.

After swimming, we came back.
Parveen went to debate, went together with Najmah in the school and waited for her to do some errands.
Real warm then, despite that we bathed ourselves after swimming.

After that Eeping and I was kinda loitering around the school compound but only at the first level and we decided to go and look at the list of sec2s being streamed to their respective courses next year.

Wow. Different combinations came out this year and different arrangements of classes.
Course A - 3e1
Course B - 3e3
Course C - 3e2
lol Something like that..and so on.

Changed the blog's cursor to the white one.

haha and the current cursor of my own is the black version of this white cursor in this blog -.- So whenever i try to move my cursor in and out within the boundary of my blog, the cursor will change from black to white. lol lame effect.
