Had our A maths common test today on Surds, Indices and Logarithms. lol.. I have nothing to comment on this test. I would only say it was hopeless ._.

After school, went to Botanic Gardens with Life Science and Entrepreneur Club.
Went into a small glassy room with several tables and materials provided for what we were there for. Terrarium.
After the PowerPoint talk by the trainer, we got on to work. We grabbed the plants.
The pebbles on the bottom of the glass container, which acts as -i forgot what's the term- to let us know if we watered the plants too much. After that would be the soil and then the after which would be the roots of the plants.
Lol we grabbed the plants out of their pots and then separated their roots by pulling them apart.
Their soil was freaking moist up and my hands were freezing cold after separating them and handling the soil mixture. lol But it was fun.
Yeah after we done planting our desired plants onto the desired positions with our desired design, we used the soil again, to cover up the roots of the plants.
Yeas, we completed our -mini garden- by using pebbles as decorative purposes and spread them out to cover the soil..

Went down to view the different types of terrarium which were made in the *last december and thus, it shows that terrariums are really self-sustainable.

Yes and then we went back up to wash our hands and pack up while the trainer sprinkled water onto our respective terrariums to wash the soild particles off the side of the glass container and leaves.
And that was it. Poof. Our very own, terrarium.

yes a quick update...
Had the Inequalities test today. Haha and then after that we did Simultaneous Equations ( a maths). Was challenging but kinda enjoyed it. lol. weird, eh?

Yeah and then after school, went to meet up with teacher and he talked to us about something that I did not expect he would tell us. lol. Hmm, we accept haha. xD and it's from the bottom of our hearts. lol

During Bio, we had our test... Was kinda hard too. We took our time throughout and yeah, we can leave upon completing the papers. haha then while we were doing the test, I felt the tables vibrating beneath. Then I turned and Parveen exclaimed," It's shaking!" haha. Then Mrs wee says it's because of the construction works at the basketball court...lol.

Back from Je. Went to start on the Physics project with Eeping and Dawn. Najmah tagged along too. Took photos of the road junctions where we find difficulties passing. -.-

Yeah and after that we went to board bus 334 and then reach Jec. Went to eat and then after that to the library. Went down to the basement (children's section) lol and started to chit chat. Took out my Geog homework and started doing it. Dint really do much on the physics...we only took photos thats all. lol. and then at about 4.45 we went up and went home while Dawn and Najmah went to Popular. Then on the way, we saw Jingwen (3e3) haha.

While waiting for the traffic to cross the road, an uncle suddenly walked up to Eeping and then said "祝你, 学业进步, 身体健康." Which meant "May you excel in your results and bless you with good health". lol then I was like "huh??" A normal dude won't just come up to anyone and say that. Wow, that's weird. lol.

lol whatever~ Met loads of weird stuff in the 14 years of my life. After he said those words, we laughed, for no valid reason. lol. Then Eeping asked me what was that suppose to mean. I answered, " A curse, maybe"
-.- It could be. *shrugs*

Yeah, a quick update before I go for tuition class later.
Hmm, yesterday...
During Biology we handled microscopes and we were supposed to draw out the epidermal cells of the onion and hydrilla. lol. Fun.
and then while we were cleaning up, I accidentally broke a cover slip which was suppose to cover the specimens of our slides. lol... Hey, I didnt do it on purpose. Im just too... violent? haha. nono, maybe clumsy or anxious would be a better word but again, not really. lol -.-

Hmm, havent been updating for a couple of days. Nothing much to talk about actually. Tests for the whole week.

Went to River Valley High for a lecture today. lol... Dun really understand what the professor was talking about. Plus all of us almost dozed off. Drank water twice to keep myself awake. Hey, it worked. lol.

The lecture was about... Lights, Camera, Action! lol. Can't even understand the theme of the lecture. ahh okay I know he was talking about Microscopes and How many words does a picture says... lol.
Can't see the link at first. lol but then, was alright in the end.

Yeah... then after the leture was the Q & A time... All the questions asked by several pro schools were really really chim. ><>

Yes, finally. Time for updates lol. Went to Eeping's new house today... yeah. Bai Nian, although it's kinda late by now. lol. It's still within the CNY period anyway. Shugee and myself were engrossed in her computer and we stood there lol while the rest of the gang ( Eeping, Meixuan, Huishi and Eeping's mom ) were watching a Korean Drama if I'm not wrong. lol.

Laughed all day in front of Eeping's computer coz we went to Shugee's blog and watched the videos she uploaded this morning.. xDD Really funny haha. Especially the one with " the 15 year old Shugee. then shugee will be making 'heeheehee' laughter. Shugee 20 years later...." THEN lol! her male cousin will pop out depicting 'shugee 20 years later look' XDXD. lol. I was stunned and then the next thing I knew, I was squatting down on the floor laughing. lol. Ahh, watch the video and you will know.

Haha then up next we went to Jurong West Stadium, the new one, for swimming. lol. I didnt swim though. Watched them swim while I do the corrections for english journal. lol. Squinting the eyes while doing it coz the sun was blazing. -.- actually, I was kinda tempted to go down for a swim. lol. =x but, nahh...

Yeah and then they called me and i went on to watch their 'play' xD I participated some myself. lol.

Yes after their swim, which was about 6 pm plus ... Eeping went back home while the four of us went to Jurong Point to have our dinner at Long John Silvers. lol. Before that, we took some pics using Shugee, meixuan and huishi's hp..lol. Will post some of it up when they post it up in their blogs haha.
Yea, after that we went home.

Saturday. The only day to stay at home for the whole day.
Did some homework and listened to Radio Disney in the morning. lol dun think that radio disney plays all the kiddo' childish songs. I dun listen to those. lol it plays all the lastest HITS. not child hits. Just so you know, it has all my fave stars. haa. and ginny is lovin' it too. : D try it try it..lol Itunes .

Mom brought me some kind of...herbal, tea..stuff while I was listening to radio disney. A big cup. I'm supposed to swallow each and every drop down my throat. lol shouldnt have smell it. Just by smelling, I can feel the freaking sensation of BITTERNESS lol.
.. then I was making funny expressions for every gulp i take XD. argh.

finally, for the last big gulp, i held my breadth and AHHHHH. It's over. hahaha

Happy Birthday everyone. lol. It's the 7th day of Lunar New Year, which meant that it's everyones' birthday(according to the chinese calendar). yeah.

lol. went to eeping's blog just now and her post reminded me of something that I really must blog about today.
Firstly, after school, most of us stayed back to have some pizzas coz they were meant for the celebration of Jan and Feb bday guys and girls.

Ate, and then after that went to meet up with Shugee and then went out of the back gate which was still open. While waiting for the green man at the traffic, a group of guys
-I won't mention what school they are from lest I get some bruises all over my face the next day-
jay-walked over to our side.

Yeah and then they were walking towards the middle of the road...they stopped their steps coz there was a motorcycle coming by. They ...lol... One of the guys did this : He was like jumping around...and then when the motorcycle was like just right in front, just a few inches away of him, he shouted BAM! to the motorist( i think right into the ear but good thing the uncle had the helmet on) on that motorcycle..And that uncle stopped a few metres around there, and when the group of guys saw him looking back, staring at them, they ran. duh~ lol.

I reckon he was gonna confront them. But too bad they ran away. lol.

Yeah and then got randomly chosen/sabotaged YESTERDAY to share my opinions TODAY about Ah Meng, the lovable Orang Utan in Cme. lol.. im so lucky.

Uh huh..oh yesterday I was taking the same route where I saw the DEAD rat on the side of the pathway. This time, I saw the same rat but not dead. Coz is was decomposed. so, it's the DECOMPOSED rat. lol. cool, eh? And this time it wasn't lying on the side of the pathway. It was kinda in the middle of the pathway. sheesh --"

Yes, back to today. hmmm, went home, took a short nap. Woke up, turned to my homework. Felt something flowing down through my nose. BLOOD.
lol. then was panicking here and there using tissues and went to the fridge to take some ice creams and put it on my nose -.-
What's more? I'm alone at home. lol. Then I was like.... What if i passed out? What if I die of excessive loss of blood? lol.

Updated: 9th feb, sat. 1:42 pm. Experienced: Last night.

lol. yesterday was crazy. well, at least at night.

After going to relatives' house and Yew Tee shopping centre for dinner, the whole lot of us proceeded to the...CNY carnival held annually at the Singapore Riverside...or however you put it..not sure either.

Yeah anyway it's the place where people crowd around the giant God of Fortune and at some regular intervals, some gold paper or gold stuff will come out of its stomach. lol. uh huh and we walked around and around. It was kinda boring at first plus the crowd.
And then my cousin asked me if i wanna have a ride on the -i dno wads it called...Top Gun? haha. It's the ride where you sit on it and the thing will rock you left and right. Something similar to roller coaster and pirate boat?? but it's a different thing altogether. lol. and then they will throw u up higher and higher and then WHOOSH suspended in the air for about 2 seconds UPSIDE DOWN. lol. and then come down from another side...so it's a 360 degrees kind of thing.

While you were in the thing...spinning u around ur organs and whatever stuff will be like...coming out. lol. ahh watch Happy Tree Friends and you will get what I mean... But I meant it literally... o.o lol
My heart was gonna jump out from my mouth. I cant even feel my seat lol. Was chatting whilst suspended up there with my younger cousin whom sat beside me lol. AHHH i just say that IT RAWKZ. lol
Might feel kinda woozy after the ride and throw up. Good thing I dint. Not for the weak and fragile.
Didnt manage to take any photos. However my uncle did...so if i can get some from him i may be able to post some of it up.

Haha my aunts told me that they were screaming down there when they watched us getting spun up there. lol. Maybe it's even scarier when you watch it from down there than sitting up there getting spun around doing like ... 3-4 somersaults?
AND THEY WERE SURPRISED THAT I DINT BURST OUT IN TEARS.. lol. xD

Red packets, anyone?
Yes...went to my Grandma's (Dad's mum) house in the late afternoon. Watched with my cousins Tom And Jerry-Year of the Kat show. haha. It's been ages since I watch Tom And Jerry.

Dejavu-ed alot today. Coz every red packet I received comes with a 'xue ye jin bu' ( may you excel in your studies ).
Yeah...was watching Tom and Jerry and my mom barged in the room saying that we will come back later.

Up next, my Grandmom's (mom's mum) house. lol
Was sharing a television with my Grandmom coz I wanna watch HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE in channel 5[ thanks tzeying for telling me (: ] haha and she wanna watch the channel 8 show - shou zu
lol then I was switching channels here and there.

at about eight, we went back to Grandma's house and had steamboat. lol
Then my aunty told me about HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE at nine showcasing in HBO. lol
So I was like watchin harry potter non-stop. Too bad for both of the movies I dint complete them. haha. nv mind. you know me lol. I can watch a hundred times without getting tired .YA...it's like liking someone. ya u know? ya ya. lol. random~

hIt's the new year's eve (Lunar). haha.

Had the first 4 periods in school today for lessons and then when all the SCs left to prepare for the performance, 20 plus of us went to left out bags in the hall and proceeded to the foyer to welcome the old folks. haha.

Yeah..upon the arrival of the old folks, we helped them up the stairs and have them settled down in the hall.

Went down to the foyer again and welcomed another batch of them.

Then we went to settle ourselves in the hall as well after we helped them up.

:D performance was alright... God Of Fortune or Fortune God...however u arrange it came and threw fortune cookies, chocolates, sweets, blah to everyone...haha then Parveen, Ginny, Christina, Shugee, Eeping and myself were sitting behind all the classes as a cluster. Then we assumed that he neglected us. xD

Much to our 'wrath', he threw a handful of stuff on us. haha. I dint get it though xD haha. I shared half of Parveen's fortune cookie.
Yes and after the concert, we went to help the old folks down to the foyer and bade farewell.
aha and then something weird happened. Wonder would it be the start of my good luck? lol
Yeah on the way back home, I was walking...yeah duh of course I would be walking...lol I was reading the small strip of paper I got from the fortune cookie and then I took a glance on the floor coz I thought I saw something...
A DEAD RAT.
lol... It's the year of the Rat. and I actually saw a dead rat at the side of the pathway.

lol. alot of sad stuff happened today... kinda.
Yeah. before we get our e maths common test paper back, we had a change of seats. -.-
AHHH... I really love that seat with eeping near the window when the cool breeze comes in.
I moved from one window to another. lol. I meant i moved from one side of the classroom to another extreme side.
Kinda squeezing there. coz alot of stuff when we have the so-called 'private space' near the side walls.

AHHHHH... I just dun wanna change. no way no way.but, Nv mind nv mind. lol

Yea, after that, our e maths common test paper. forget it. although i passed, it was lousy. so, yeah :/

Ahh then during bio...the not-sad part of the day. haha. coz we got back our bio test papers. Hui Ming pro. 39.5/40 for her test paper. Pro pro pro.

yes...then bowling. haha almost all the throws were 'gutter-istic' . feeling very weird too. dno why or how. yeas, so that's for today, once again, for details u can visit eeping's blog. haha.

Yes, had the A maths common test today. lol.
There are two extremes to the comments made .. Very easy and very difficult..
For me was...okay, but nearer to the difficult side. haha. hope i dint make any careless mistake which is kinda impossible =x

Ahh, after school....Biotechnology Workshop @Singapore Polytechnic.
haha. Shugee and Huishi and the sec4s went to the drug group...I think they are extracting samples from drugs.
While the rest of us including sec2s went for the enzymes kinetics one.
The aim if this workshop is to introduce the use of spectrometer and study effect of temperature on the enzyme.
Haha we got to use the micropipettes which can abstract much much much smaller volumes of liquid and spectrometer to measure the absorbance signal from enzyme-substrate reaction.

Then after that we are suppose to abstract o-Nitrophenylgalactoside which is the substrate of enzyme beta-galactosidase into a test tube. After that, abstract also using a micropipette, Sodium Phosphate buffer pH 7.3 solution into the same test tube.
Ya...then blah blah...haha.

then after more more steps taken for the experiment, we put the test tube with the enzyme in it already into the spectrometer.
Then we went for the tea break. haha
yes...chow chow chow. lol.
Bee-hoon and loads of stuff were served.
Ate two small plates.
hmm ...haha. drooling already. Im starving now. No, I'm starving everyday. lol.
I'm not dieting or wadever xD just that...lol. lazy ., haha
ya ya ya then after that we went back in and then the lecturer explained the absorbance to us and drew a graph...
Then we are suppose to write an essay and then the outstanding one will stand a chance to win something...
Then we were supposed to obtain the results but then we went out and then went downstairs. lol. coz he say after u take out from the spectrometer, the solution will turn yellow, which is ortho-nitrophenol after the enzyme break down the substrate..
lol something like that. not sure. lol, dull post for today, eh? One random piece of note : Stand under the rain (with an umbrella of course ) after you have ur shower. - by Yours Truly, me. lol. random right -.-

Yeah and then we went down and waited for shugee's group and we walked around...haha.
