Actually not really in the mood to even blog. Tired-.-

Went with Red Cross and Girl Guides with only 4 Life Science members to Singapore Visual Farm.

Went into a room and had our theory lesson about how to farm.

Trainers were Joyce and Geoffrey.

Had our practical later.

Learn to appreciate all food okay.

Farming is fun; not a dirty job. However, imagine if you have to do it almost everyday under the hot sun. Pure torture.

Okay back.. I was so despo for the Shovel that I was looking out for it every minute if the trainers had took them out. Yeah in the end after the measurements of the plot of land (15x3) I took the Shovel from Huangyu who knows I'm going crazy over it.

Dug hell lots of stones out from the land. Fun I tell you. Saw alot of worms too. Earthworm, millipedes and a white juicy one (woodgrub). The hardest part for me would be when we were carrying down the compost IN A WHEELBARROW down the staircase to our land. lol especially on the uneven land the wheelbarrow would tilt and lose its balance.

Don't mess with the wheelbarrow. I've got a red bruise at my thigh right now. Internal injury. lol

After that er... okay I shall skip.

I may consider putting farming as my career choice lol. Breeder? Will have to study agriculture in the future. haha.

Came up and ate buns and drank packet drinks. Then Joyce took some Neem leaves here. It's a miracle plant I tell you. The sap can..er.. lol clear and kill bacteria in your body, act as a natural pesticide for crops (it's so true) and treat skin allergies..Go google it if u wanna know more.

God, I took one of the Neem leaves and ate it. Freaking BITTER. BITTER BITTER. Ginny, Eeping, Parveen and I swallowed it. Wow at that point I almost vomitted. Ginny, Eeping and I dashed to the water cooler.

Oh yeah, if you consume Neem leaves for a period of time, GIRLS, YOU WILL BE STERILE for the period of time also.

After the break, learnt how to harvest both leafy vegetables and non-leafy vegetables and also how to make natural fertiliser.

lol I can't go on any further..
